Caught is a bad relationship from which I need to financially escape...

I am caught in a bad relationship. There is no cruelty as such - just boredom but I don't financially know how I can escape as my husband is the substantial salary earner. What are my entitlements if I decide to leave and how do I go about seeking a divorce?

It is true sometimes if couples separate it is impossible to maintain the same standard of living but it is impossible to say if this is the case in your circumstances without further information.

The Court is likely to take into consideration your husband has the greater earning capacity and this is likely to be reflected in the settlement you receive.
