Married abroad: is my marriage valid and will I still need to divorce?

My husband and I got married in Bermuda three years ago. I want a divorce but have heard that the marriage may not be valid anyway. Are holiday marriages valid? Do I need a divorce?

I would not bank on the marriage not being valid. Lots of marriages take place abroad these days and they are perfectly legal. It is highly likely you will need a divorce.
